Following the report of the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Restitution for Victims of SARS Related Abuses and Other Matters, acknowledging that there was indeed killings of some EndSARs protesters by the military and the police at Lekki tollgate a petition, Reno Omokri authored wherein he called for President Muhammadu Buhari to be arraigned before the International Criminal Court has garnered 5,000 signatures.
The petition is on the change.org platform and titled, ‘A Petition to The International Criminal Court to Arraign Muhammadu Buhari for Crimes Against Humanity.
Filed on Wednesday, it received the said number of signatures in just an hour, the first petition from Nigeria to get that figure in such a time.
