The Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, AGN, has unveiled its plan to honour deceased member of the association, late Rachael Oniga with a posthumous award.
AGN made this known during a condolence visit of a delegation led by its Vice-chairman Southwest branch, Femi Branch to the late thespian’s home.
Members of the delegation include: its erstwhile President, Segun Arinze, National Secretary: Mr. Abu Abubakar, SSA to the President On Int. Travels and Special Duties: Miss Ifeoma Okeke.
Others are: the Lagos State AGN Chairman: Mr. Emeka Rising Ibeh, his deputy: Mrs. Bukky Fagbuyi, the Former National Secretary of the AGN; Mr. Femi Durojaiye, Former Chairman, Lagos state: Mr. Don Pedro Aganbi, Former Vice Chairman Lagos AGN: Mr. Chris Iheuwa, Mr. Victor Osuagwu, and Mr. Sean Faqua.
The guild conveyed its condolences to the grieving family and expressed shock at the tragic death of their beloved colleague, sister, and friend, whose absence would be felt throughout the entertainment business.
The actors’ guild delegations who were well received by the deceased family encouraged the children to see themselves as members of the Actors’ Guild’s family, affirming their commitment to easing the burden occasioned by the irreparable loss.
The deceased’s sister conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to the veterans who took the time to make a condolence visit to the family, expressing their love and concern to them.
