Ex-deputy gov’s daughter killed, used for money rituals by boyfriend

Miss Adenike Khadijat Oluboyo, daughter of the immediate past deputy governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Olugbenga Oluboyo has been killed purportedly for money ritual by her boyfriend, Adeyemi Alao, aka QS.

Miss Olubayo was a final year student of Adekunle Ajasin University residing at off campus at State House Villa, along the institution’s permanent site. She was however, declared missing and six days into the massive manhunt that was launched her, her lifeless body was found under her boyfriend’s bed at Oke-Aro area of the city on Thursday with claim rife that she was murdered allegedly for money rituals by him.

Reliable sources, said the deceased and her killer boyfriend were an item while in secondary school and had called time on their relationship until recently when they reignited the passion with the tragic incident suggesting that Alao was only faking his love for her.

It was gathered that Alao, who is an Abuja-base after killing the former deputy governor’s daughter set out to keep her remains under his bed for seven days as directed by a herbalist who was said to be on the run.

However, the lid on the crime was blown off on the sixth day when the decomposing body was found by Alao’s younger brother, who visited the house.

The visitor was said to have been troubled emotionally and reported the incident to the nearest police station.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Femi Joseph, while confirming the incident said some suspects had been arrested in connection with the death of the undergraduate.
