Aisha Buhari has outraged not few persons online over the inclusion of her daughter-in-law, Zahra, in Nigeria’s delegation to the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly underway in New York.
About 24 hours ago, Aisha posted picture of her son, Yusuf, and his wife, Zahra, while the latter recently graduated from a British university, at a time her counterparts in Nigeria are unable to attend class for seven months and still counting due to lecturers’ strike.
The post was met with outrage and cried of insensitivity to the plight of the common man by the first family.
This time, and unperturbed, Mrs Buhari took to Facebook again, to post a picture of the president and same Zahra together accompanied by the words, “Mrs Zahra B. Buhari Part of My delegation at the ongoing #UNGA.”
As expected, it drew her attack with several tearing into her and the first family.
One Ismail Mantu in response, wrote, “The first family are acting insensitive to the plight of the common man. We took pity of your desperate husband and ride him on our shoulders to Aso Rock against overwhelming odds.
“Here is the President having no iota of remorse towards the pains of we the commoners. Negotiating with terrorist groups and using court orders to force universities lecturers to work in a poor paying condition. Shame on you!”
