The governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress in Lagos State, AkinwunmI Ambode has promised residents of Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state infrastructure that would uplift their lives if elected.
Ambode made the pledge when his campaign train stormed the area for rally.
The aspirant who asserted that talents are abound in Ajegunle, a community within the area, promised to create standardized recreational, vocational and technical infrastructure that will ensure residents realize their full potentials.
He therefore urged them to collect their permanent voters card (PVC) as it’s the only means to exercise their civil right.
He enjoined residents to vote for APC presidential candidate as this will lead to more good governance in Lagos state.
In his speech, Governor Fashola who presented Ambode to the people of Ajegunle amidst thunderous ovation, warned against the postponement of general election by Independent national electoral commission (INEC),saying it was dangerous for democracy.
Fashola accused President Jonathan of reneging on his 2011 election promises, urging the electorate to vote him out with passion in which they voted him as President.
“He has breached the 2011 social contract between him and Nigeria.
“Your message of change has reached Abuja, New York and London, they know you are ready. We will drive them out of Aso Rock with your brooms and votes”, Fashola said.
Also present at the rally were, wife of the aspirant, Mrs. Bolanle Ambode, Prince Oluwa, Commissioner for Information, Lateef Ibirogba, Nollywood stars, Moji Olaiya, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Remi Surutu among others.
