A couple, Mr and Mrs Uche Onu, ostensibly in mixed feelings have dragged a medical doctor, Alfred Nwoyeocha and Maneks Hospital Limited to the Kaduna State High court, for alleged detention of the wife in the hospital facility where she was delivered of a baby.

The plaintiffs accused Dr. Nwoyeocha and the hospital of carrying out a caesarian section on Mrs. Onu without her consent and went on to detain her and confiscated her car on the basis that she was unable to defray the cost of the surgery in the sum of N480,000.

The couple are demanding N32m compensation from the pair as compensation.

The matter which came up for mentioning on Tuesday was adjourned till November 13, 2019.
