The former Central Bank Governor was deposed by Ganduje citing insubordination and banished to Loko Local Government area of Nasarawa State.

A culmination of their feud, any belief that Sanusi’s deposition would spell end to allegation of financial misappropriation of Kano Emirate fund and land scam the state government imputed to him was on Monday dispelled by the governor at an interactive session with newsmen.

He hinted that there is no letup in the investigation of the ex-monarch for land fraud saying: “The state anti-corruption agency will continue investigating the former emir according to the law.”
