Alleged N90bn slush fund: What Osinbajo told us in private – Pastor Wale Oke

The founder and Presiding Bishop of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries, Ibadan, Bishop Wale Oke, has told of what transpired between Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and some pastors under the umbrella of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, during their courtesy call to the Vice President over the alleged N90 slush fund.

The former deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Timi Frank had released a bombshell accusing Osinbajo of misappropriating N90bn allegedly gifted him by Federal Inland Revenue Service boss, Babatunde Fowler, to prosecute the general election, a claim refuted by both camps.

On the back of the allegation, a delegation of CAN led by its President including Bishop Oke visited the Vice President, a pastor himself, at the Aso Villa.

Speaking on the visit at his church in Ibadan, Oke was quoted by to have said: “The VP did not only deny involving himself in any sleaze, but used the opportunity to inform us that some cabals were behind the allegations.”
