Talented rap artiste and Badoo crooner Olamide Adedeji has stated that he hails from Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State and not Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, which is speculated in some quarters.

Olamide made this known in a radio interview last night monitored by Orijoreporter. The artiste who sings with heavy Ibadan accent in some of his singles debunked the rumour that he is from Ibadan.

His words; “I ‘m from Ijebu-Ode and not an Ibadan boy. It is only because I like to think outside the box, and draw my inspiration from what people see as ordinary.”

Badest Boy as he is fondly called also disclosed that he has established his own record label and recently signed two upcoming artistes, 6 years old Bosco and Victor.

The popular artiste who said he had several mentors mentioned Sultan and Rugged Mouth as some of his senior colleagues who he has wonderful relationship with and has learnt a lot from.
