The All Progressive Congress governorship candidate in Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on Thursday in Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State where he hails from revealed that he will complete the airport under construction in the area and initiate other projects if elected.
Ambode said this while addressing party supporters at a campaign rally in Epe, adding that he would dualize the road that leads to Epe from Ibeju-Lekki, provide 24hours electricity, build sports complexes and encourage the siting of a shopping mall in Epe Division.
While expressing gratitude to his people for turning out en masse to receive him and the party’s leaders, the aspirant thanked Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola for embarking on several projects in Epe.
Another indigene, Dr. Kadir Hamzat, commissioner for works and infrastructure urged the people to vote massively for APC, adding that votes cast in the area in 2011 was not encouraging.
In his message, Gov. Fashola berated the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan for the alleged missing 20 billion, adding that the money was big enough to build ten of world’s tallest building, Burj khalifa located in Dubai.
In attendance at the rally were Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji, Chief Kayode Olowu, Tola Kasali, Chief Lanre Rasaki among others.
