Anambra lawmaker slumps to death in South Africa Hotel

The Majority Leader in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Nnamdi Okafor, has dead in South Africa.

Okafor’s death occurred in the early hours of Wednesday in Sandton City Hotel, Johannesburg, South Africa, where he was alongside his colleagues on a legislative retreat mission. 

Popularly called Akajiugo Awka, Okafor represented the Awka South Constituency 1 in the state Assembly, the deceased was said to have slumped to death. 

The cause of the tragedy is yet to be made public as of the time of this publication.
