The Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Mr Babatunde Oke, has reportedly died of COVID-19
Oke died early Wednesday morning from complications arising from Coronavirus Infection, according to The Gazelle News.
The paper said the former council boss had contracted COVID-19 and initially gained his health back only to fall sick again after exposing himself during the Sallah held about two weeks ago.

This time, he could not survive and died at unnamed hospital where he was rushed to last Friday.
The deceased was a second term council chairman and was a strong member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
