Two siblings, one the District Head of Birnin Tsaba in the Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara, known as Alhaji Hashimu have been kidnapped by bandits.
Hashimu and his younger brother, Danbalange, a member of the All Progressives Congress in the area were kidnapped at their homes around 4.30am on Friday.
Their abductors who rode on motorcycles, according to report, invaded Birnin Tsaba on a mission to recover two brand new motorcycles belonging to their leaders, which were seized.
It was not known as of press time whether the kidnap victims were responsible for the seized motorcycles or their abilities in ensuring its recovery informed their abduction.
