No fewer than 95 persons have been reportedly killed in a fresh attacks by bandits in Kaduna and Kebbi States.
Out of the two states, Kebbi suffered the biggest casualties with 88 persons killed during an invasion of eight communities in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area on Thursday by the gunmen.
The invaded communities include, Koro, Kimpi, Gaya, Dimi, Zutu, Rafin Gora and Iguenge.
The State Police spokesperson, Nafi’u Abubakar, confirmed the incident.
In a similar vein, five people were sent to their early graves by the bandits in Chikun and Igabi Local Government Areas of Kaduna state.
The Kaduna State Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, who disclosed the killing of five residents of the state by bandits in the early hours of yesterday, also said that two others were injured in an attack on Chikun and Igabi local government areas.
