Bandits running away from Zamfara State following the onslaught of military on their camps have written five local government areas in neighbouring Sokoto of their plot to attack.
Recap the fleeing bandits stormed Dange/Shuni and Tureta areas of Sokoto on Tuesday and Wednesday, and left behind a trail of destruction, stealing and deaths.
A letter written by the criminals to five local government areas notifying the residents of their plot to attack was on Saturday found under a tree in Kwanar Kimba Village of Shuni District, Dange/Shuni LGA.
In the notice written in Hausa language to Shuni, Kwanar Kimba, Rikina and Dange areas, the bandits said their planned attack is a fait accompli saying no amount of soldiers can prevent them.
Report said the letter has thrown residents into panic mode expressing concern about the safety of their lives and properties.
