The New Jerusalem Deliverance Ministry, Okene, Kogi has come under lock and key on account of the founder, Pastor Peter Adeiza trading in so-called Bulletproof Water.

Bulletproof Water is said to be anointing water, which Pastor Adeiza came up with and has been selling to the church congregation as a form of alleged fortification against gun attack in the face of prevalent insecurity.

To some, including the State government, it is a ploy to defraud the church members by the pastor and so on Monday the government ordered the closure of the church.

The other ground for the closure was the running of an unapproved medical facility by the church.

The exercise was carried out by the state Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (retd.), in the company with the state Commissioner for Information and Commissioner for Health, Kingsley Fanwo and Dr Zekeri Usman, respectively, other government officials and the security agents.
