Former Enugu State first lady, Mrs. Clara Chime, has told an Abuja High Court how she came down with depression when her estranged husband was in office, Sullivan Chime, blaming him for her bad-health.
The couple openly bickered when Chime was in office culminating into the mother-of-one moving out of Enugu Government House with report rife that she was battling depression.
Clara, who is in court seeking dissolution of the eleven years old marriage and custody of their 10-year-old son, while being cross examined, said she fell into depression because the ex-governor only had sex with her once precisely on the night of their wedding.
The former first lady, however, denied allegation of having schizophrenia, saying she only saw the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of neural psychiatric because her husband brought him home.
Justice Angela Otaluka later adjourned the case till June 10 for continuation of hearing.
