Senator Dino Melaye said he is in no way against the pictures of himself and embattled scammer, Ramon Abbas, aka Hushpuppi being posted online.
Hushpuppi has been facing prosecution in the United States for slew of frauds including conspiracy to launder dirty money from scams running to several millions in dollar.
The scammer, who posed as a real estate investor until he was found out, has 2.5 million on Instagram where he posted pictures and videos of his lavish lifestyle and with celebrities and politicians including Melaye.
The latter on his verified Instagram page @dinomelaye, debunked suggestion that he was not pleased with pictures of himself and Hushpuppi being posted online.
The post: “There was never a time I ask people not to post my pictures with Hushpuppi or anyone for that matter because there is no reason to. Am a political celebrity, please continue posting jare. Wetin bird chop na im e go carry fly. SDM.”
