The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) said that one of its airmen, Corporal Meshach Iliya Komo, died in Kaduna on Sunday, while parachuting during training.

The sad news was broken by the NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola in a statement he released where late Komo’s employer commiserated with the deceased’s grieving family.

In the emotional statement, Daramola said Komo would be sorely missed by NAF, and prayed to God to give his inconsolable family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
