A corps member serving in Abuja with Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Charity Thilza, has been cut down in her prime, three days to her completion of the National Youth Service Corps programme.

The deceased, who read Linguistics and English at the University of Maiduguri, hailed from Borno State.
The 25-year-old was killed on May 1, three days to her completion of national service scheduled for Thursday, May 4.
Report said the deceased, and four of her friends, had gone to a nightclub at Carribean, Wuse 2, to watch hip hop artiste, Phyno, performed and were returning in a car around 3.00am when armed robbers attacked them along Wuse 2 road, fired shots at their car while trying to rob them and killed Thilza in the process.
The deceased’s friends on Facebook have taken to her timeline to mourn her demise.
One of them, Sofy Ibrahim, wrote, “Gaskiya I dint find this easy,pls lord give us the heart to bear this great lost.we’ll really miss you till we meet at Jesus feet.RIP Charity Wadzani Thilza”
Another, Samuel Ehigie Henry posted, “Pls am confuse here she use to be my clasemate bak den wat kiled her am stil in a shock wen i saw rip in her wall.”
