The caucus of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in the House of Representatives, is enmeshed in crisis on account of leadership tussle between the Leader of the House, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila and the Coordinator of the Parliamentary Support Group, PSG, Mr. Abdulmumin Jibrin.

Punch reports that the unity of the pro-President Muhammadu Buhari elements in the House, which Jubrin led-PSG also represents just as the party’s caucus is being threatened by feuding between Gbajabiamila and Jubril.

It said information at its disposal, revealed that Gbajabiamila had always questioned the relevance of other groups within the APC caucus when the caucus as a block, had the numerical strength to work together for Buhari’s success.

However, the report said Jibrin has lately been accusing Gbajabiamila of using his opposition to the PSG to destroy it and other groups for the sole aim of promoting his own agenda of becoming the speaker of the House in the event the incumbent Yakubu Dogara is impeached.
