Popular Ekiti traditional musician. Chief Peter Ogunyemi popularly known as Elemure died yesterday morning at the age of 71.
He died at his residence at Ado-Ekiti
The late Elemure was initially rumoured to have died in March due to complications arising from diabetes but the rumour proved totally unfounded.
In the wake of the speculation about his death, he came out to confirm that he had diabetics.
The folk singer will be remember for his many hit albums.
