Former Information minister, Dapo Sarumi is having a tough time as his health condition degenerated after he has a stroke in the last four months.
The Peoples Democratic Party’s chieftain who was involved in a car crash in 2001 while he was a minister and lost two of his ministerial aides turned 70 years old last month.
Orijoreporter was told that his health problem prevented him from celebrating his birthday on May 15, and drove him to United States where he is currently hospitalized.
But it’s not just the stroke that is troubling Chief Primose (CP) as the PDP stalwart is called in the political circle. The 70-year-old who hails from Epe in Lagos East is also braving emotional turmoil following a serious dispute between him and his relations over a landed property along Lekki-Epe Road.
“CP is going through a lot emotionally and physically. He seems not to have interest in anything again, particularly politics. He is only concern about his health, immediate family and the controversial property,” the source added.
