Gunmen in whose custody abducted business woman, Mrs Funke Ayodele is, have demanded a ransom of N30m.
Ayodele who owns popular supermarket, Cheapest Ladies & Kiddies Place, in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital was abducted last Wednesday in the evening in front of her residence at Ganaja-Lokoja Road.
Multiple accounts said she just returning home from work in her car and about entering her residence when the assailants said to be four in number ambushed her and took her to their den.
The latest, according to report, is that the gunmen have reached out to their victims’ family over the phone to demand a ransom of N30m with ultimatum that it should be paid by the midnight of Sunday.
The abductors were said to have spoken in Yoruba language.
