Report has emerged that two female robbers were locked in a gun battle with the police in a hotel in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The scene was Paradise Hotel, and it happened when the two criminals stormed the hotel at the weekend for vile operation, Punch reported.
The report said following a tip-off, the police arrived at the scene and for about half an hour they engaged the criminal gang in fierce gun battle during which one of the female armed robbers sustained gun injury to her buttocks leading to her arrest.
“One of the suspects later sustained gunshot injury on the buttocks, while attempting to disarm a policeman. The lady is currently receiving treatment in a hospital,” the paper quoted a source as saying.
