FG’s N20,000 jobs for 3-month: PhD, master’s holders apply in Ogun

Four PhD holders and two-hundred others with Master’s degrees are some of the applicants for the 774,000 Special Public Works recruitment scheme of the Federal Government.

A temporary job lasting only for three months with successful applicants to receive N20,000 monthly, the programme’s build-up has been marred by acrimony between the Minister of State for Labour, Employment and Productivity, Festus Keyamo and the national assembly over slot sharing.

The recruitment framework for the programme is a thousand persons from each of the 774 local governments across the country with the 20,000 for the 20 council areas in Ogun State up for grabs applied for by several persons including four PhD holders and two hundred of their Master’s Degree counterparts, according to Punchng.com.

“Four PhD and 200 master’s degree  holders have applied,” the paper quoted the Chairman of the Special Public Works in Ogun State as saying.
