Four staff of Nnamdi Okonkwo-led Fidelity Bank, three security guards and six policemen have been arrested for robbing a branch of the bank in Alaba, Lagos.
The suspects were believed to be behind the interception of two bullion vans at the bank premises, which contained money. They were alleged to have carted away N24m and killed two policemen in the process.
Among the policemen fingered for the armed robbery were three inspectors, two sergeants and a corporal while the bank staff were two female cashiers and two male cashiers.
