Engr. Mu’azu Magaji (Dansarauniya) has been sacked under Governor Abdullahi Ganduje for the second time.
Recall that the governor had first sacked Magaji, who was a commissioner after a post on Facebook inferred he mocked the death of Abba Kyari, former Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, who had died of complications from COVID-19.
However, some months later, Ganduje engaged him in another capacity.
He was appointed the Executive Chairman, state NNPC/AKK Gas Pipeline Project and Gas Industrialisation Committee.
But on Monday, Ganduje terminated his appointment over “poor performance and insubordination,” according to Daily Trust, citing a statement Commissioner of Information in the state, Muhammad Garba, released.
The statement said the governor directed Magaji to hand over the affairs of the committee to the Deputy Executive Chairman, Aminu Babba Dan‘Agundi, Sarkin Dawaki Babba.
