Gunmen kidnap three worshippers during Ogun church service

Three persons have been kidnapped during a service of a Cherubim and Seraphim Church at Obada Oko in Ewekoro local government area of Ogun State.

The gun-wielding abductors stormed the church located along Railway Station in the early hours of Sunday in the middle of a night vigil programme whisking away three worshippers, namely Ifeoluwa Alani-Bello, Adebare Oduntan and Mary Oliyide.

Report said the gunmen have reached out to the church authorities and their victims’ families to demand N6m ransom.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident.

Recall that the police in the state warned faith based religions against conducting night vigil following the spate of kidnapping during such occasions.
