An apprentice hairdresser simply identified as Sitira, has been found dead at a dumpsite at Olomoore junction in Abeokuta metropolis with mutilated body, and some missing parts.

The 23-year-old(pictured her dead body) who lived with her mother at Iberekodo area of Abeokuta North Local Government, had successfully completed her apprenticeship and was only working towards raising money for her ‘freedom’ when tragedy struck.

It was said that she had a baby outside wedlock but lost the child about two years ago.
On Saturday night at around 10pm, family sources said she left the house to keep a date, and was not seen again until the early hours of Sunday when her mutilated body was sighted at Olomoore junction.

“Sitira was an hair stylist apprentice and she was last seen in their house around 10pm on Saturday night where she and her mother discussed plans for her freedom.

“Nobody, including her younger siblings, knew when she went out,” sources said.

When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed that Sitira must have been killed and dumped at the site.

He said, “We found the corpse in the area but we have taken the corpse to the mortuary.”
