Former Super Eagles player Samson Siasia has expressed disappointment at the awareness level of President Muhammadu Buhari about issues in Nigeria.
Siasia stated this against the backdrop of his FIFA ban travail and the recent federal government’s fulfillment of its pledge to give houses to members of 1994 African Nations Cup winning Super Eagles squad in an interview with Goal saying, “Now they said they gave us houses after 27 years, are we supposed to be jumping up?” Siasia posed a question.
He added, “I am not happy, I don’t know if [President] Buhari does not watch TV or does not know what is going on, or if [Sports Minister Sunday Dare] is afraid to approach him.
“He is a person, you can approach him if things like this happen.”
