Ihedioha issues Okorocha 24-hour Ultimatum to handover


Outgone Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorochas, is still in possession of documents necessary for the take-off of the new administration, his successor, Emeka Ihedioha, has said.

Ihedioha stated this on Monday at the Government House in Owerri, during the swearing into office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Uche Onyeaguocha and Chief of Staff, Chris Okewulonu.

The incumbent went on to issue Okorocha 24 hours ultimatum, precisely midnight of Tuesday to make available the documents or face the dire consequences of his failure.

His word, “I direct Head of Service and Permanent Secretary, to ensure a complete handover of all government properties, the last administration utilised on behalf of Imo people to SSG and Chief of Staff of Imo state government. I want the process to be completed by midnight tomorrow.”
