Janet Jackson has given birth to her first child at the age of 50.
The American singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, and her husband Wissam Al Mana welcomed their first child, a son, on Tuesday, January 3, a statement released by Jackson’s rep announced.

The statement reads, “Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world.
“Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”
Recall Jackson married Qatari businessman Al Mana in 2012, and last year’s October she shared a bump photo on her social media handle, saying, “We thank God for our blessing.”
