The deceased, Comfort Uche-Ume who lived with her parents at Iyienyi was said to be returning home last week Friday after she accompanied her elder sister to visit the husband at Okwoyi, a neighbouring village when she was ambushed in the bush by her assailants, Ndubuisi Wogu, Chinaza Ufomadu, and Francis Onwoboro who forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
The suspects are currently on the run, and are in their early twenties.
