The mother-of-two in an interview with The Sun said she became a heavy eater and overweight after her dream to study aeronautic collapsed.

The 38 year-old narrated that following her parents’ divorce, food was difficult for her to come by and whenever it was on her table, she would eat like glutton.

She told the paper: “But instead of mourning and gnashing my teeth and be depressed, I began gorging on food and became overweight. At a point, I discovered that I could use aerobics to lose weight, so I started dancing and people liked it and they joined me. And then it dawned on me and I was like ‘wait a minute, I am actually making people happy doing this thing’.

“I’ve always been dancing. I was eating because there was no food, so whenever I had an opportunity to eat, I gorged just in case I don’t get to see food again. There was a time, for seven straight months, I was drinking only garri. So, whenever I saw food, there was this propensity to overeat and I ate as much as I could; that was the psychology (laughter).”
