Former Minister of State for Education, Mr Kenneth Gbagi, has denied having a hand in the stripping of four employees of the Signatious Hotel, Warri, Delta State, of their clothes by the management.
A viral video of three female and a male workers of the hotel owned by Gbagi, forcefully stripped down to their panties in the presence of police sparked outrage online with accusing fingers pointed at the ex-minister.
The workers were subjected to ignominy over allegation of defrauding the hotel to the tune of N274, 000 (Two hundred and Seventy Four Thousand).
Speaking to newsmen on the assault, Gbagi, denied alleged link to it, saying he is not involved in the running of the hotel.
“I have handed over the running of the hotel to a management team,” he said.
