Ex-Kano State governor, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has denied media reports that he has dumped the All Progressive Congress for Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Rather, Kwankwaso, who is at loggerheads with his predecessor, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, in a statement released by his aide, Rabiu Suleiman, accused Ganduje and former vice president, Atiku Abubakar of conniving with Ahmed Makarfi-led PDP to dislodge President Muhammadu Buhari come 2019.

The statement reads in part, “what is true is that it has been brought to our attention that Governor Ganduje of Kano State has been working with the Makarfi faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other politicians of northern extraction, and from what we know, they are aspiring to float a new party, the APDP.”
