Lagos extend stay-at-home order for certain civil servants


The stay-at-home order the Lagos State government issued to civil servants from Grade Level 14 and below on account of COVID-19 second wave has been extended till Monday, January 18.

The extension was contained in a statement the Head of Service in the State, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola signed.

In it, the government said, government workers in essential services are exempted from the order while urging the workers to adhere strictly to protocols in place to curtail the marauding novel disease.

Muri-Okunola also urged all staff to join the virtual Y2021 First Work Day Prayer for all Public Servants in the State via Zoom platform with Meeting ID: 857 4418 2571; Password: 100200 from 7.45a.m on Monday, 4th January, 2021, which he said would only take place online due to COVID-19.
