Lagos governorship aspirant on the banner of All Progressive Congress, Dr. Femi Hamzat has rated the state high under Governor Babatunde Fashola and his predecessor, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, adding that it can only get better under him.
Hamzat, who is the Commissioner for Ministry of Works and Infrastructure in the state made the declaration while addressing the media on Wednesday at his campaign office in Ikeja.
Also the Commissioner for Science and Technology during the tenure of Asiwaju, he expressed delight at being given the opportunities to serve the two governments.
He said, “Am a key member of the governments, and am proud of it. However, the next government must be aggressive. Do we keep teaching our children with blackboard?
“Sentiment will not put food on our tables, tomorrow am urging all the delegates to vote for me.
“The challenge is not how we live today but how we live tomorrow. The reality is that Lagos does not have land size. in terms of skill, it is important that we change the pattern of education. Lagos must be a knowledge based economy that is people must be able to do business without necessarily physically present in the state.”
