Report that Loatsad Media, a company owned by Seyi Tinubu, son of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is in charge of regulating billboards and signages has drawn the reaction of the State Signage and Advertising Agency, LASAA.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, had alleged that the regulation of outdoor advertising, which LASAA is statutorily charged with has been taken over by Seyi’s company, Loatsad Media.
Responding via a statement, LASAA MD, Adedamola Docemo debunked the claim explaining that Loatsad Media is only one of many others registered with the agency to practise outdoor advertising in the state.
The statement entitled, ‘LASAA remains the regulatory agency for billboards and signages in Lagos State’ said in part, “nothing more than wishful thinking, for any individual to insinuate that the agency has yielded its fiduciary responsibility to an advertising company that it regulates.”
