A final year student of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Adesoji Adediran allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan in the hostel on Saturday.

Late Adeniran, who was a 500-level student of Urban and Regional Planning Department was said to have hanged himself after he refused entreaties from his roommates to come with them to the class for night study.
Report said that Adeniran’s roommates returned in the morning to find his corpse dangling from the ceiling.
A schoolmate of the deceased, who goes by the name of Horlarholu Xarmoohel Cartel on Facebook, in a post on the social media revealed that Late Adeniran had told him he was not coming to class again.
He wrote, “Adesoji, can’t believe my eyes when I saw adieu in your name. I don’t know this is what you mean when you said, ‘I am not coming to class again,’ after we sat for a test last week. Haa! SOJ, the best Chelsea fan I ever knew; the best record keeper who doesn’t need Google before he tells you history of football. Already missing you bro, can’t get hold of myself since I heard about your death. I know God knows best.”
