Shedrach who was alleged to have been caught in the act last year has gone missing since then.

Report says he was chased to his mother’s house by an angry mob. It was said the mob attacked his mother, Mrs. Happiness Ogboi after they could not find him, and burnt their house.

The incident left Mrs. Ogboi’s distraught and led her to have stroke. Sometimes in May this year, she died of stroke at the age of 48.

But a family member of the Ogbois, Mr. Elurihu Okocha, denied Shedrach was caught in homosexual act, and appealed to the authorities for assistance in his search in an interview he granted Leadership Newspaper.

He said, “We are begging the government to help us find our son. Since his disappearance and the sudden death of his mother, late Mrs. Happiness Ogboi, the family has been in pains and anguish. Shedrach is a disciplined and well-brought-up child from a sound Christian home and had never been a gay or involved in any outlaw group.”
