Nelson Mandela is closer to death than hospital medics are saying, it was claimed last night.
The South Africa’s revered ex-President, 94, is clinging on to life as his kidneys and liver fail, according to sources.
One said he had to be revived at his home on Saturday when he was rushed to hospital for a third time as he battles a lung infection.
Pretoria Heart Hospital insisted he was in “serious but stable” condition.
Visitors said he was unable to talk.
President Jacob Zuma declared: “I have full confidence in the medical team.”
