The first lady, Mrs Aisha Buhari, has revealed her plan to own a university, which will be named, Muhammad Buhari University, after her husband.

Mrs. Buhari dropped the hint on Saturday at a town hall meeting of Adamawa indigenes held in Yola, the state capital.
Aisha, who was coy about where the citadel will be sited, said she will establish the institution in partnership with partners from Sudan and Qatar.
Lamenting the challenges facing education and various sectors in the state, the President’s wife appealed to indigenes of the state to complement government efforts.
Her word, “I cannot conclude without suggesting how we can complement the efforts of government in achieving some of its developmental goals.
“On this note, I would like to advocate for the establishment of Adamawa Development Trust Fund through which prioritized developmental projects can be financed and implemented.”
