Wife of Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha, Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha, has kicked off monthly prayer meetings in the state.
Mrs. Okorocha, a mother-of-six, recently came up with the idea of organising monthly prayer meetings for the spiritual growth of Imo families, across the ten federal constituencies in the state under the coordination of her pet project, Women of Divine Destiny Initiative (WODDI).
At the first session, which was held for the people of Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta, Oru West Federal Constituency at the Ohaji/Egbema council headquarters Mmahu at the weekend, Evangelist Timothy Ofoegbu lamented the vicious atmosphere in politics, advising politicians to shun desperation for power, which he said triggered political violence, and encouraged some of them to join occultic group.
Evangelist Ofoegbu enjoined women looking for the fruits of the womb not to patronize ‘wonder pastors’, explaining that “they will have their problems multiplied in hundred fold”.
