Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has denied report of him endorsing the All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu circulating.
The denial came after some of Tinubu’s men who accompanied him to visit Obasanjo on Wednesday said the ex-president at the occasion threw his weight behind the bid of the ex-Lagos governor to succeed incumbent President, Muhammad Buhari.
In a rebuttal via his Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi, on Saturday, the Retired Military General said those spreading the rumour of him endorsing Tinubu as the latter’s enemy, saying, “Those claiming to be insiders at the meeting issuing statement on the discussion and those crediting to me statement I had not made are enemies of the visitor and are not doing the visit any good.”
