The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has blamed the perennial power problem in Nigeria on former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Tinubu laid the epileptic power supply at the doorstep of Obasanjo when he met with the leadership of the Christians’ Association of Nigeria, CAN.
The APC flagbearer said during his time as Lagos governor with Obasanjo as the President his endeaavours to solve the power problem was frustrated by the ex-President.
His word, “I was the first governor to bring in independent power generation to the country. Obasanjo, a fellow Yoruba man was the President then, rejected it. If not, we would have been out of this problem since then. I can tell it to his face, I will say it again and again. He stopped that project.”
