Olujunwo, son of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, has accused his wife of a year, Tope, the daughter of Premier Lotto founder Kessington Adebutu, of husband battering in a petition to Ogun State Judicial Service Commission.

The pair who got married in May 2017 in an acrimonious wedding following the groom’s mother, Taiwo Obasanjo-Martin’s open displeasure with the wedding date had been reported to be having a rocky marriage.
Olujunwo’s mother in several interviews with the media, accused her daughter in-law of assaulting her(Tope’s) husband and the former President of forcing their son to stay in the marriage.
A document, which surfaced online purportedly from the Olujuwon’s lawyer to Ogun State Judicial Commission, has accused Tope of turning their client to a punching bag and sought the commission’s protection for him.
The lawyer claimed Olujuwon has been running for his life on account of assault and threat by his wife.
