Report has emerged that the confessional statement of the masterminder of the brutal multiple banks robbery in Offa area of Kwara State, Michael Adikwu, whose sudden death in the custody of the police is dogged by controversy is missing.
The robbery gang in the singular operation robbed six banks and killed thirty-three persons including police officers.
The latest report on the incident by Vanguard also claimed the loot recovered from the Adikwu led-gang and firearms have equally developed wings, sparking suspicion that some elements in the police set up were behind the disappearance.
It will be recalled that the suspects including: Ayoade Akinnibosun, Ibikunle Ogunleye, Adeola Ibrahim, Salawudeen Azeez and Niyi Ogundiran implicated the Senate President Bukola Saraki, Gov. Abdulfatah Ahmed and the latter Chief of Staff.
