Singer Davido has launched a scathing criticism at his cousin Bamidele Adeleke who declared his interest to run in the 2022 Osun State gubernatorial election on Twitter.
Recall that their uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, was the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 2018 and lost to the incumbent governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Adeleke is giving it a shot again and has submitted his nomination form at the PDP office.
Bamidele’s entrance into the race has drawn him criticism from his singer cousin, who accused him of faking being an intellectual alleging that he(the aspirant) has no claim to intelligentsia given that he(Bamidele) graduated with 2.2.
He wrote: “Wonderful! Me I finished uni with a 2:1. But it’s now cousin Dele who struggled to even get a 2:2 that is now forming “intellectual”.
“Intellectual that has not succeeded in building one single thing in his life on his own. This life ehn! Osun beware of FAKES! @deleadeleke001.”
